Slip-On Line exhaust system (Titanium)

This high-quality, lightweight titanium system with handcrafted carbon tailpipes weighs 35% less than the series system and has a cast in the in-house foundry Collector pair . The Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system is equipped with a specially developed Akrapovič Control Kit for a complete sound experience. The sound character offers a rich tone during normal driving and increases to a deep, sporty sound when the M3/M4 is driven more dynamically. The system delivers a perfect sound at all engine speeds, offering comfort and sportiness in one exhaust system. A groundbreaking octagonal shape made of lightweight titanium with a carbon fiber outer shell was developed for the tailpipes, and for more traditional buyers, there's the classic cylindrical design.

The system provides a Performance improvement by 8.0 kW (10.9 hp) at 6,000 rpm and a Torque increase of 13.9 Nm at 5,000 rpm when compared on the Akrapovič test bench against a BMW M4 Competition with a standard exhaust system. No reprogramming is required for this configuration. It is suitable for all vehicles (with and without gasoline particulate filters), but the EC/ECE certification is only valid for vehicles with gasoline particulate filters.

Link pipes and downpipes are optional available for customers who want to convert the exhaust system for use on closed race tracks. The Akrapovič Sound Kit is also available as an option. When installing the optional link pipes, downpipes and the Akrapovič Sound Kits The EC/ECE type approval of the Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system is no longer valid. A handcrafted carbon diffuser is also available upon request, which underlines the visual impact of the Akrapovič tailpipes.

The exhaust system also fits the xDrive, CSL, LCI, M3 Touring (G81), M4 (G83) Competition, and Cabriolet models. The ECE type approval certificate does not apply to the CSL model.

The Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system is EC/ECE type-approved for vehicles equipped with a gasoline particulate filter.

The tail pipe set (carbon) must be ordered separately. Please select TP-CT/69, TP-CT/68, or TP-CT/73/CF.
