Slip-On Line (Titanium) BMW XM

This product is crafted from high-quality titanium and features integrated acoustic reflectors that direct the sound into the vehicle's interior, enhancing the overall acoustic experience of the Akrapovič exhaust system. Two integrated flaps, located on either side of the muffler and operated by the Akrapovič control kit, adjust the exhaust flow for an exciting aural experience. The sound has a linear progression depending on the engine speed and load, offering a smooth and harmonious tone at low revs, building to a distinctive V8 growl in the midrange before reaching a crescendo of high-frequency, sporty sound at higher revs.
The exhaust system features two pairs of striking tailpipes with a titanium inner sleeve and a handcrafted carbon outer sleeve. The complex components of this Slip-On Line (Titanium), including the valve bodies and both collectors, are all cast in the company's own titanium foundry. The system is 11.35 kg (50.7%) lighter than the stock system.
On the Akrapovič test bench, power and torque were increased by 7.6 kW (10.3 hp) and 12.6 Nm, respectively, at 5,750 rpm compared to a BMW XM label with an M exhaust system. The plug-and-play installation requires no remapping, and it has EC/ECE type approval.
A further upgrade to the Slip-On Line (Titanium) system is available with the optional Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium), designed for those seeking an even greater performance increase. Installing the Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium) means that the EC/ECE type approval for the Slip-On Line (Titanium) is no longer valid.
