Slip-On Line exhaust system (Titanium)

This product is made entirely of high quality titanium and features special parts such as two flaps, one for each side of the muffler, and two acoustic reflectors. The flap housing and collectors are cast in the in-house titanium foundry. Two tailpipe designs are available: either the groundbreaking octagonal shape, first seen on the exhaust system for the BMW M3/M4, or the more traditional and classic design. The two tailpipes are fitted with handcrafted carbon fiber outer sleeves.

By using Lightweight materials The exhaust system is 7.3 kg lighter (32.7% less weight) than the standard version. Performance is increased by 3.9 kW (5.3 hp) at 2,800 rpm and a Torque increase A torque of 13.5 Nm at 2,800 rpm was recorded during testing on the Akrapovič dyno compared to a BMW M2 Coupé with a standard exhaust system. The exhaust system was developed to provide a unique driving experience. Combined with the most advanced Akrapovič control kit—engineered for an exceptional sound experience—the system, with its flaps and acoustic reflectors, produces a smooth, rich sound during normal driving and a deep, sporty note when the M2 Coupé is driven more dynamically and enthusiastically.
ECU remapping is not required and the exhaust system meets the ECE type-approval conditions for the BMW M2 Coupé (G87) with OPF filter.

Linkpipes and downpipes are optional Developed for use on closed race tracks, as is the optional Akrapovič Sound Kit. Installing these options eliminates the ECE type approval for the Slip-On Line (Titanium).

The Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system is EC/ECE type-approved for vehicles equipped with a gasoline particulate filter.

The tail pipe set (carbon) must be ordered separately. Please select TP-CT/69, TP-CT/68, or TP-CT/73/CF.
